The Decentralized Social Zoo (An Intro to DESO)
I spend a fair amount of time in the world of decentralized social media, namely the DeSo blockchain. In November of 2022 they held a competition among creators with, if I recall, a $10,000 prize. Winners were determined based on YouTube views. Unfortunately, my high attention to detail left me submitting this near the deadline with no time to rack up views. I knew that would be the case, but I was having fun. I lost, but they still thanked me with $750.

10 - E+R=O: Jackson Picks Success
For the BASE by Pros Just Play! Mindset Training series I was handed scripts and set off to produce short videos. The scripts included multiple sports and mindset topics. The idea was that coaches of all sports could take 15 minutes before practice once a week to watch the video as a team and then discuss it for 10 minutes. I defined the shots in my head, collected stock photos and cut them up into appropriate scenes, and then traced them.

Elle Marie Hair Studio Annual Retreat 2016
Once upon a time I owned hair salons with my mother and sister called Elle Marie Hair Studio. We started in 2006 with one location and grew to four by the time I stepped away in 2018. I mostly hid behind the scenes overseeing the marketing efforts and shooting videos like this. My mother and I have since moved on, but my sister still runs the show. She was the cosmetologist in the family and the company is still thriving so it all worked out.
